WHAV’s Spring Membership Drive Remembers Ken Ash

Seventy-five years ago, Ken Ash came to WHAV, proving to be one of the station’s most versatile announcers. He did everything from taking listener song requests to serving as play-by-play announcer for high school spots. Before coming to WHAV, he served as an NBC’s big band announcer, covering up to four performers a night in New York City.
