Snowdrop, Marigold and Wisteria Montessori Schools Plan Information Session Today

Snowdrop Montessori, Marigold Montessori and Wisteria Montessori, all part of the Wildflower network, host an information session this afternoon. Teachers will be available to answer questions from families about the schools’ approach to early childhood education. YWCA Northeastern Mass. Seeks Nominations for 42nd Annual Tribute to Women

YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts is seeking nominations of outstanding women in time for its 42nd Annual Tribute to Women. The YWCA is seeking nominations of women who work tirelessly to make a difference in their work and communities and deserve to be recognized at the annual event Thursday, May 15. It is the core fundraiser for the YWCA, highlighting the critical work all of the more than 25 YWCA community programs engage in throughout Essex County and the Merrimack Valley. Nominations are accepted from Saturday, Feb. 1, through March 1.

‘Congregational Conversation about Justice’ Open to Public Sunday in Haverhill

A “Congregational Conversation about Justice” with elected officials, residents, clergy and the public is planned Sunday in Haverhill. A panel includes state Rep. Andy Vargas, Haverhill School Committee member Jill Story, Haverhill City Councilors Katrina Hobbs-Everett and Devan M. Ferreira, Nate Robertson, Dennis Everett and Zan Spaihts-Mohns. It will be hosted by Universalist Unitarian Church Rev. Frank Clarkson and Director of Religious Education Clare Fortune-Lad. The conversation takes place Sunday, Feb. 2, beginning at noon, at the church, 15 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill.

Haverhill Public Library Participating in Bruins PJ Drive Through March 14

The Haverhill Public Library is participating in the 18th annual Boston Bruins PJ Drive, collecting new pajamas for low-income and homeless children. The drive seeks pajamas in all sizes, appropriate for all seasons and asks that no family or holiday references be included in donations. The sizes most needed are 18-24 months, 2T, 3T, 5/6—child small, 14/16—child extra-large and adult small, 18/20—child XXL and adult medium. Pajamas may be dropped off from Saturday, Feb. 1 through Friday, March 14, during regular hours, at Haverhill Public Library, 99 Main St., Haverhill.

Veterans Northeast Outreach Center Hosts Bingo for Veterans

Veterans Northeast Outreach Center hosts monthly Bingo games for veterans with prizes and food. Bingo is scheduled for the last Friday of each month, from 1-3 p.m., at 10 Reed St., Haverhill. Nevin’s Library Hosts Chronicle’s Ted Reinstein for Talk About Latest Book

WCVB reporter and author Ted Reinstein discusses his latest book, “Travels Through the Heart and Soul of New England,” during a Tuesday talk in Methuen. The book talks about the memorable people Reinstein has met on his travels and how their struggles, toughness, triumphs and humor not only define the very essence of New England, but represent the timeless best of America as well. Reinstein is known for his work as a reporter for “Chronicle,” Boston’s long-running television newsmagazine. The talk takes place Tuesday, Jan. 28, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at the Great Hall, Nevins Memorial Library, 305 Broadway, Methuen.

Museum of Printing in Haverhill Offers Industry-Related Film Festival Saturday

The public may use one medium of communication to learn about another this Saturday at Haverhill’s Museum of Printing. A “Printing Film Festival” shows promotional films from industry suppliers as well as snippets from Hollywood movies and other events, curated by President Frank Romano. It takes place Saturday, Jan. 25, at noon, at the Museum of Printing, 15 Thornton Ave., Haverhill. General museum admission is $15; $10 for seniors; and free for members of the military, students and those with Haverhill Public Library cards thanks to a donation.
