Three generations of a Haverhill family appear on WHAV’s Open Mike Show to discuss their participation in the upcoming “Rubbish to Runway ReFashion Show.”
Grandmother Jill Regensburg and mother and daughter, Jennifer and Annabel Dryden, are scheduled to talk about the fourth year of the refashion show where rubbish is queen of the runway. The event takes place Saturday, Oct. 25, at Nicholson Hall, 7 Harris St., Newburyport, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. It benefits the Tecnico Chixot school in Comalapa, Guatemala, which has been built by the non-profit Long Way Home out of waste materials such as earth-packed tires and trash-filled plastic bottles.
