Kayden Curtis, a Haverhill senior at Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, recently passed the Massachusetts Municipal Grade 4 Wastewater Treatment Exam, making him the youngest licensed wastewater operator in the state. A 29-year-old Derry, N.H., man accused of supplying area drug dealers with large quantities of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine was sentenced Wednesday to six years in prison. Riverwalk Innovation District Collecting Wheelchairs All Month for Restoration, Distribution

Riverwalk Innovation District is having a wheelchair drive this month on behalf of Joni and Friends “Wheels for the World” program. Each year, an estimated 75,000 wheelchairs are thrown away in the United States, while 20 million people worldwide desperately need them.
