State Certifies Methuen’s Nearly $21 Million Surplus—$2.5 Million More Than Last Year

Methuen is touting its nearly $21 million surplus as evidence of its “remarkable turnaround.” Mayor David P. “D.J.” Beauregard Jr. said Friday the state Department of Revenue’s Division of Local Services certified Methuen’s free cash at $20,926,263.
