Windrush Farm is inviting riders who have not been on a horse for months or years to get back in the saddle.
Windrush Farm in North Andover is offering a one-time free evaluation ride on Saturday mornings, for independent riders. Riders are invited to show their skills in grooming, tacking and riding at the walk and trot. After “passing” this test, riders may join others that take part in lessons on well-trained gentle horses or go on pop-up trail rides around the farm. Enjoy the sweet smell of a horse barn and getting on the back of a horse again.
Founded in 1964, Windrush Farm offers equine-assisted services to children and adults facing physical, cognitive and emotional challenges. It also also offers recreational riding.
