Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll is this year’s honoree at the Haverhill Democratic City Committee’s Annual Roz McKeon Breakfast.
Driscoll is the Committee’s 2024 Distinguished Democrat, and is being honored for her “tireless efforts on behalf of the Democratic Party and the City of Haverhill.” She has served as the lieutenant governor since 2023, having previously served as the mayor of Salem from 2006 to 2023.
All of the Democratic candidates who are on the Sept. 3 state election ballot for statewide, county and local offices have been invited. The Committee will also be conducting its popular straw poll for the September primary election, with results being released following the breakfast.
The breakfast, open to the public, takes place Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10-11:30 a.m., at Maria’s Restaurant, Galleria Banquet Room, 85 Essex St., Haverhill. Tickets are $30 each. Those wishing to learn more or reserve a seat in advance may call Roz McKeon, breakfast chair, at 978-373-4032.
