The menu includes a choice of lamb shish kebab, chicken kebab, losh kebab and a kheyma vegetarian plate. Hot dogs and chips will also be available along with Armenian pastries and Armenian coffee. Dinners include pilaf, salad and bread.
Live Armenian music will be played by the Jason Naroian Ensemble. One dollar of each dinner sold will go to the Armenian Clergy Fund for the clergy who serve border town villages in Armenia. There will be a cash bar and raffle. Credit cards will be accepted.
The annual Armenian Picnic takes place Sunday, Aug. 25, from noon to 5 p.m., at the church, 1280 Boston Road, Route 125, in Haverhill.
Tours of the new church will be given. Those who wish to sit outside are asked to bring lawn chairs.
