“Let’s Hike, Haverhill” is a new series by Essex County Greenbelt Association, raising awareness of the city’s trail system

The free events kicked off earlier this month with a hike at Tattersall Farm, off North Broadway in Haverhill. The next hike takes place Saturday, March 18, from 8-10 a.m., at Crystal Gorge and Crystal Point.

“Greenbelt’s goal is to get more people out on the trails and to be aware of conserved lands in Haverhill and what conservation means to our area,” the group said.

Future hikes take place Saturday, April 29, from 9-10:30 a.m., at Bailey Reservation; Thursday, May 25, 6-7:30 p.m., at Tattersall Farm; Saturday, July 22, from 8-10 a.m., at Winnekenni Park; Thursday, Aug. 17th, 6-7:30 p.m., along Corliss Hill Road; Saturday, Sept. 9, 8:30-10:30 a.m., at Meadow Brook; and Sunday, Oct. 22, 9:30-11 a.m., at John’s Woods.
