Methuen is seeking police recruits and urging those interested to attend an information session next week.
The meeting takes place Tuesday, Jan. 10, 6 p.m., at Nevins Memorial Library’s Great Hall, 305 Broadway, Methuen. Those who wish to know more may email [email protected] or call 978-208-5372.
The department notes deadlines to register for the required state Civil Service examination are Tuesday, Jan. 17, or Monday, Jan. 30, with a $50 late fee. The examinations are expected to take place between March 18 and April 1.
Methuen recruits receive paid training, free uniforms, incentives for college degrees or bilingual ability.
