MakeIT Haverhill is having a job fair this Thursday featuring both public and private sector career opportunities.
Public jobs include mail carriers, mail handlers, window clerks and mail processors at the U.S. Post Office and an administrative position within the Haverhill Police Department. Haverhill police officials are also available to advise on how to become an officer.
Other jobs are offered by Amazon Workforce Staffing, Bradford Industries, Edwards Vacuum, Monogram Foods and Revise Energy. Bilingual assistance is available for Spanish speakers.
Also on hand will be Community Action, providing information about its Head Start program; MassHire Merrimack Valley’s jobs and training opportunities; and Haverhill Public Library, taking library card signups, books to take home and an overview of library services.
MakeIT Haverhill’s Job Fair takes place Thursday, Sept. 15, from 4-6 p.m., at 301 Washington St., Haverhill.
