Buttonwoods Museum Children’s Program Tuesday Explores Haverhill’s Shoemaking History

Haverhill’s heritage as the “Queen Slipper City” is explored during an educational children’s program by Buttonwoods Museum.

Geared to elementary and middle school kids, the history of the city’s shoe industry and its connection to the Merrimack River takes place Tuesday, July 19, from 2-3:45 p.m., at Buttonwoods Museum, 240 Water St., Haverhill.

Admission is $12 per child.
