Haverhill police officers will be helping families Saturday check their child passenger safety seats.
Police note three quarters of all car seats are not properly installed. Certified passenger safety technicians will be on hand to check installations, help install seats and provide information.
The safety check takes place Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., on the top level of the Herbert H. Goecke Jr. Memorial Parking Deck, 51 Merrimack St.
