Haverhill’s volunteer-driven annual Earth Day Citywide Clean Up is set for Saturday, April 23, with free t-shirts and the raffling of two bicycles for early bird registration.

Called the “Welcome Back Clean Up,” it takes place Saturday, April 23, from 8:30 a.m.-1 p.m., with volunteers meeting at the Citizen’s Center 10 Welcome St., before moving on to designated sites. People are asked to bring their own rakes, shovels and gloves, while lawn and garbage bags will be provided. Coffee, water, donuts/pastries and snack packs will also be available.

Official Earth Day t-shirts will be available while supplies last. Those who register by Friday, April 22, will be entered into a raffle to win one of two children’s bicycles donated by Riverside Cycle. Online registration takes place here. Residents are advised to click “All Activities” before choosing “Earth Day Clean Up.”
