There will be various daytime lane closings this week along portions of Interstate 495 in Haverhill.
The Massachusetts Department of Transportation said closings in both directions of the highway, between exits 106, Ward Hill, and 107, River Street, are needed to allow trucks to enter and exit the work area of the twin bridge replacement project as well as for substructure repairs to take place at the Ward Hill overpass.
A left lane northbound closes Monday, April 4, through Thursday, April 7, from 6 a.m.-2 p.m., each day, while a right lane closes southbound Tuesday and Wednesday, April 5 and 6, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
There will also be a left lane closing southbound Thursday, April 7, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
