Haverhill and Andover post offices are offering extended weekend, retail hours during this holiday season.
On Saturdays, Dec. 11 and 18, Andover remains open until 3 p.m.
Haverhill offers Sunday retail hours on Dec. 12 and 19, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Postal Service generally receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to pay for its operations.
