I-495 Construction Update: Overnight Lane and Ramp Closings This Week for Paving and Striping

There will be overnight lane and ramp closings this week along Interstate 495 south for paving and line striping.

Double right lanes close on I-495 south, between exits 108, Broadway, Route 9, and 106, Ward Hill, from Sunday, Oct. 17 through Thursday, Oct. 21, from 9 p.m.-5 a.m., each night, for paving and line striping.

The exit 106 on-ramp from Ward Hill to I-495 south also closes during the same days and hours for paving. Traffic will be detoured to exit 109B, Route 125, to the on-ramp to I-495 south. The exit 106 off-ramp from I-495 south to Ward Hill will also be closed. Traffic is to be detoured to exit 104, Route 110, Merrimack Street, to the on-ramp to I-495 north and back to exit 106.

Exit 108’s on-ramp from Route 97 to I-495 south also closes from Sunday, Oct. 17 through Thursday, Oct. 21, from 9 p.m.-5 a.m., each night for pavement marking installation.

The Exit 107, Routes 110-113, River Street, on and off-ramp also close during the overnight hours for pavement marking installation.
