Haverhill’s Buttonwoods Museum kicks off its seasonal free guided tours this week.
Buttonwoods tour guide Doug Jenkins conducts a tour of historic Elmwood Cemetery Saturday, June 5, at noon. Participants are advised to wear comfortable shoes as the cemetery’s ground is uneven.
On Sunday, June 6, at 3 p.m., Jill Schoenberg walks a group through Linwood Cemetery. Other tours include Bradford Burial Ground, Saturday, June 12 at noon; Pentucket Burial Ground, Tuesday, June 15 at 1 p.m.; and Bradford Common, Saturday, June 19 at 1 p.m.
All state and local COVID-19 protocols regarding masks and social distancing will be followed and, in case of inclement weather, tours may be rescheduled.
