Jobs are available in a variety of industries including health care, food and transportation, and MakeIT Haverhill is presenting eight job fairs, beginning tomorrow.
MakeIT Haverhill organizers say the fairs allow residents to meet local employers in a friendly, COVID-19 safe environment at its 301 Washington St. offices.
Haverhill restaurants and food manufacturers invite applicants Tuesdays, May 11, May 25 and June 8, from 2-5 p.m., to learn about opportunities. Participating employers include Krueger’s, Keon’s, 110 Grill and Cedar’s Mediterranean Foods.
The new Amazon Distribution Center, 25 Computer Drive, Haverhill, is looking for full-time delivery drivers ages 21 and up during fairs at MakeIT Fridays, May 14 and June 4, from 4-6 p.m. and Saturdays, May 15 and June 5, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
Employment opportunities at Penacook Place, Mary Immaculate and NRT Bus are featured Wednesday, May 26, from 3-6 p.m. Pencacook Place, Haverhill, and Mary Immaculate, Lawrence, are both looking for certified nursing assistants, dietary aides and housekeepers. Free CNA training is available for per diem, part-time and full-time positions. NRT Bus is offering flexible opportunities as a monitor or 7D van or school bus driver. NRT will provide training to assist applicants obtain the proper licensing.
