Man, 41, Suffers ‘Apparent Serious Injuries’ After Grove Street Stabbing Saturday Night

A 41-year-old man is at a Boston hospital after being stabbed Saturday night near High and Grove Streets.

Haverhill Police Capt. Stephen J. Doherty Jr. confirmed this morning that police and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene just before 10 p.m., Saturday. He said an unidentified man was ultimately taken to a Boston hospital with “apparent serious injuries” and an investigation is ongoing.

According to emergency radio traffic and observation, the victim was initially treated by Haverhill firefighters and Trinity EMS at the High Street Fire Station before being first taken to Lawrence General Hospital.
