Patrick T. Jordan, 46, of Wakefield, and formerly of Bradford, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 28, at his residence.

He was born in Haverhill on Feb. 1, 1974, son of the late Thomas J. Jordan who passed away in 1987 and Mary E. (Dwyer) Jordan of Haverhill.

Patrick was educated in Haverhill, attending Sacred Hearts School, Haverhill High, and St. Michael’s College.

He was an exceptional educator having taught at both the middle school and high school levels. For the past several years, he was an online tutor and was proud to be the highest rated tutor in the country.

Patrick loved the outdoors, particularly hiking and walking with his beloved dog Sweetie. He was a voracious reader. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was blessed with several wonderful friends whose friendships he treasured deeply.

In addition to his mother, Patrick is survived by his brother Timothy J. Jordan and his wife Lindsay O’Day Jordan; and their children Tommy, Owen, Liam and Molly. Patrick’s nephews and niece meant the world to him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the calling hours on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 4-7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St. (Rte. 125) Bradford. Face covering and social distancing will be requested. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. in St. James Cemetery, Primrose St. Haverhill.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
