Buttonwoods Museum’s Virtual Book Club Reads ‘The Winter People’ in October

Buttonwoods Museum brings back its Virtual Book Club in October.

Geared to preteens and middle schoolers, attendees will read “The Winter People,” by Joseph Bruchac, a highly acclaimed children’s book author, poet, novelist, storyteller and scholar of Native American culture.

Sessions take place Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 1:30 p.m., for a mid-book check-in, and Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1:30 p.m., for a final book talk. Zoom meeting information will be emailed each morning of before the book club meeting.

The cost is $10 per person for just the program or $20 for the program and a book. Books may be picked up Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 1-4 p.m. at the Museum, 240 Water St., Haverhill. Email [email protected] to register. Registration deadline for the program and book option is Sept. 30.
