The website for Haverhill Public Schools went down Thursday, affecting not only those looking for a schedule or resource, but also students using remote learning.

Network Solutions, a registrar of domain names such as haverhill-ps.org, initially reported the website’s registration expired, while certain browsers reported the school site unsafe because there was no valid security certificate on the temporary notification page. By the end of the day, Network Solutions reported the domain had been renewed and the site returned. School Technology Director Douglas Russell sent a note by email.

He wrote, in part, “While this is certainly frustrating and we are working diligently to get this back up and running, you and your students can still access some of our online services such as Classroom, Drive, and Meet. You can open up Chrome and click the waffle-grid in the top-right to access Classroom directly You can also access Classroom from the link on the bottom bar of the Chromebook.”
