I-495 Construction Update: Installation of Granite Edging and Guardrails to Bring Lane Closures

Progress on the $102 million I-495 bridge replacement project in Haverhill means lane closures beginning Monday for installation of granite edging and guardrails.

Massachusetts Department of Transportation said there will be lane closures both northbound and southbound. Single right lane closures northbound, between exits 48 and 50 take place Monday, Sept. 21, through Thursday, Sept. 24, from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. each day.

Single left lane closures southbound, between exits 49/50 and 48, take place Tuesday, Sept. 22, through Friday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. each day.
