The 56-year-old Beverly man who died after his bicycle collided with an automobile Saturday in Haverhill has been identified as Peter Delsette.

Carrie Kimball, spokeswoman for Essex County District Attorney Jonathan W. Blodgett, confirmed the man’s name Wednesday after noting Haverhill Police had completed family notifications.

She said, “the crash remains under investigation and no charges have issued at this time.”

Haverhill Police initially said last weekend the man suffered “life-threatening” injuries Saturday morning around 10 at Amesbury and Brandy Brow Roads in Haverhill, near the Merrimac line. The man was taken to a local hospital.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lt. Joseph Ingram 978-373-1212, ext. 1505.
