A 54-year-old pedestrian received serious injuries after being struck by an automobile early last night near Main and Ashland Streets.
Haverhill Police said the unidentified man was medflighted to a Boston hospital for treatment. No information about his condition was released and no charges have been filed against the driver.
Haverhill Police and the Massachusetts State Police recon teams are investigating. Police ask that anyone who witnessed the accident or has more information to call Sgt. Kevin Lynch at 978-373-1212, ext. 1530.
