Essex County Ghost Project and Pentucket Paranormal plan a night of “Haunts and History,” this Saturday night to benefit restoration of Haverhill’s Hilldale Cemetery.

Thomas Spitalere says Hilldale Cemetery is “one of the most haunted cemeteries in New England” and there is documentation of “shadow figures, strange mist and other paranormal phenomenon.”

Gates open at Hilldale Cemetery, 331 Hilldale Ave., Haverhill, Saturday, Sept. 12, at 6:30 p.m. with the tour beginning at 7:15. Participants are asked to wear masks and bring their own cameras and recording devices. There is a suggested donation of $10.

Reservations, required due to COVID-19 restrictions, may be made by calling Spitalere at 978-376-2807.
