There will be daytime lane closures—both northbound and southbound—next week along I-495 in Haverhill as the $102 million bridge replacement project continues.

Massachusetts Department of Transportation said single right lane closures take place on the northbound side, between exits 48 and 49, beginning Monday and continuing through Thursday, Sept. 3, from 6 a.m.-2 p.m., daily. The northbound lane closures are necessary for pier protection barrier work.

There will also be single left lane closures on I-495 southbound, between exits 49/50 and 48, Monday, Aug. 31, through Thursday, Sept.3, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., each day, for roadway edging and median work.
