Police Say No Injuries or Damage Reported After Sixteenth Avenue Gunfire; Seek Public Help

Haverhill Police are asking for the public’s help identifying who fired gunshots Wednesday night on Sixteenth Avenue.

Police Capt. Stephen J. Doherty Jr. told WHAV police responded to a call about 9:15 p.m. There were no reported injuries or property damage and the matter remain under investigation. Anyone with any information is asked to call Detective Richard Welch at 978-373-1212, ext. 1558.

The usually quiet neighborhood is closer to I-495 than to downtown. The street is home to one of Haverhill’s fire stations.
