Greater Haverhill service clubs are pooling efforts again to collect food and paper products for the city’s food pantries.

The food drive takes place Thursday, Aug. 13, from 5-6:30 p.m., at the Coldwell Banker parking lot, 40 Kenoza Ave. Residents are asked to donate boxed or canned food, paper goods, Market Basket or other grocery gift cards or checks or cash. Checks should be made out to Pentucket Kiwanis.

With more people out of work during the COVID-19 pandemic, the city’s food pantries are reporting heavy demand.
