Buttonwoods Museum Begins Virtual Book Club with Reading of ‘Lyddie’

Buttonwoods Museum opens its new virtual Book Club to preteens and middle schoolers with online discussions taking place Aug. 17 and 31.

Participants will read the provided book “Lyddie” by Newbery Medal award-winning author Katherine Paterson. The mid-book talk takes place Monday, Aug. 17, at 1:30, with a final book talk Friday, Aug. 31, at 1;30 p.m.

Registration is $10, cash or check and exact change only, and is limited to 10 readers. To register or ask questions, email [email protected] to register. Buttonwoods asks that participants pick up the book box today, from 1-5 p.m., at the museum, 240 Water St., Haverhill.
