Some of Haverhill’s newest restaurants will be among those showcasing their menus when the Greater Haverhill Chamber kicks off its Third Annual Haverhill Restaurant Week this month.

Barrio at downtown’s Harbor Place; Nelly’s Kitchen, 133 Lafayette Square; and Kobe Japanese Steakhouse, Plaistow Road, are among more than two dozen participating eateries. The seven-day event takes place Friday, Aug. 21 through Thursday, Aug. 27. Chamber Member Relations Specialist Melissa Seavey says this year Restaurant Week takes on a greater meaning.

“Restaurants, like many businesses, have been greatly impacted during the pandemic and this year’s Restaurant Week offers the Chamber and the greater Haverhill community another opportunity to support our local restaurants,” she explained.

The Chamber is again offering its “Dining Passport” to guide patrons around the city. It is available online and at local establishments. Those who wish to learn more may visit haverhillchamber.com or call 978-373-5663
