Boy Scout Troop 24 Plans ‘Contactless Pickup’ Saturday at Sacred Hearts Food Pantry

Boy Scout Troop 24 is seeking the public’s help in keeping food stocked at Sacred Hearts Food Pantry with a “contactless pickup” this Saturday, from 9-11 a.m.

Sacred Hearts and other area food pantries have reported enormous food demands at the coronavirus has created historically high level of unemployment and hunger.

The troop’s community service project is seeking donations of non-perishable food and related items including canned meats, baked and kidney beans, macaroni and cheese, pasta and sauce, peanut butter and jelly, toilet paper, fruit, vegetables and rice.

Sacred Hearts Parish is located at 165 S. Main St., Haverhill.
