A pedestrian received what officials believe to be non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle just after 7 p.m., last night, on Main Street at Ginty Boulevard.

The unidentified 22-year-old man was taken to a local hospital, said Capt. Stephen J. Doherty Jr.

Police blocked the intersection during the initial investigation, placing yellow tape around the accident location. Doherty said no charges have been filed against the driver, but the investigation is continuing.
