Haverhill’s Garibaldi Club is asking for donations of canned food and non-perishable items during food drives this Wednesday and Saturday.
Food will be distributed to all of the city’s food pantries for distribution to those in need. Collections take place Wednesday, July 15, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, July 18, from 8 to 10 a.m., at the Garibaldi Club parking lot, 86 Washington St., Haverhill.
Checks will also be accepted. Make checks out to Garibaldi Club and write “Food Drive” on the memo line.
