Plaistow, N.H., Town Hall is partially reopening to the public next Monday, July 13.

Public access will be provided only to the town clerk and tax collector’s offices on the first floor.  All other departments will be by open by appointment only. Officials say they have adopted rules since the COVID-19 pandemic remains “a clear and present threat to the health of our staff, patrons and the community.” They ask that anyone experiencing symptoms of fever, cough, chills, shortness of breath, headache, muscle aches, sore throat, severe fatigue or sudden change in sense of taste or smell are asked to stay home.

Rules require patrons to wear face masks while in the building, use the provided hand sanitizer upon entry, maintain physical distancing, adhere to a maximum occupancy inside the lobby and at the service counters of six people total and follow directional arrows for exiting the building.

Town Hall hours are 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Thursday.  Online services remain available and residents may also submit renewals by mail or use the drop box in the vestibule.
