Greater Haverhill service clubs are banding together again to counter critically low supplies at the city’s food pantries.

The various civic organizations are asking for donations of boxed and canned goods, paper products, Market Basket or grocery gift cards and checks or cash. The latest collection takes place Thursday, July 9, from 4:30-6 p.m., at either Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main St., or the Salvation Army, 395 Main St.

Checks may be made out to Pentucket Kiwanis Club.
