Bill Keating has been elected chair of the Haverhill-based L’Arche Boston North.

L’Arche Boston North Executive Director and Community Leader Jennifer Matthews said, “Bill has been with the board for two years and brings a tremendous amount of experience both professionally as a CFO and personally as a parent of a child with an intellectual disability. Bill is passionate about sharing the mission of L’Arche with the greater community and investing in strategic opportunities to grow our vision and impact while strengthening our roots in L’Arche’s International Federation.”

Keating joined the L’Arche Boston North’s board of directors in April 2018, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience in strategic and financial oversight. He has served as chief financial officer of the Nexxus Group and Micropore, of Elkton, Md., and as a member of the finance faculty at Bentley University. Through a variety of roles at Polaroid Corporation, he helped to form ZINK Management out of Polaroid’s research and development group. He graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s in Finance and a doctorate in Economics.  He also is certified as a CPA in Massachusetts.
