Today’s Obituaries—June 22: Lisa C. Blinn

Lisa C. Blinn, 48, of Atkinson, N.H., passed away Thursday, June 18, at her home with her family by her side after a brief, sudden illness.

She was born in Haverhill Sept. 9, 1971, daughter of Nelson D. Blinn and the late Sandra L. Blinn.

Lisa was educated in Haverhill and graduated from Haverhill High School in 1989. She was a graduate of Merrimack College in 1994, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in accounting. She was employed for several years at the CPA firm of Blinn, Farrell, & Company in Haverhill.

Lisa thoroughly enjoyed the family’s winter home in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. She was a dedicated mother to her children, as well as her beloved dogs, Baillie, Brody, Bentley, and Odie.

In addition to her father Nelson D. Blinn and his significant other, Ginny Simmons, of Hampstead, NH, she leaves her two children Sarah L. Hardy and Robert D. Hardy both of Atkinson; her fiancé John E. Robson of Atkinson; her aunt Brenda A. Blinn of Haverhill; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours on Monday, June 22 from 4-7 p.m., at H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. Due to COVID-19 pandemic guidelines, facemasks will be required to enter the funeral home and social distancing must be followed. There will be a private Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Hearts Church in Bradford because of the strict pandemic guidelines and the expected turnout. Therefore, a public graveside service will follow the Mass on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem St. Bradford, all are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Mass General Hospital Oncology Dept. 55 Fruit St. Boston, MA 02114 or to the MSPCA 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
