As part of the continuing Merrimack River bridges replacement project along I-495 in Haverhill, there will be daytime lane closures Monday through Thursday this week.
The state Department of Transportation said the right lane southbound, between exits 48 and 49, closes from 7 a.m.-2 p.m., each day. In addition, there will be a left lane closures southbound between exits 49/50 and 48 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
The closures are necessary for pier protection barrier work.
