With blood supplies low and the need great due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Haverhill High School juniors are hosting an American Red Cross Community Blood Drive in two weeks.
Rebecca Hamel of the class of 2021 said her class was eager to help when they learned of the shortage. The Haverhill Community Blood Drive takes place Wednesday, June 17, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at Haverhill High School gym, 137 Monument St.
The American Red Cross will manage social distancing requirements.
