A driver was killed Friday night after a fiery crash off Broadway in Haverhill’s Ayers Village.
The accident took place around 10:40 p.m., but officials have not yet released any information on the driver. State Police spokesman David Procopio told WHAV a 2016 Nissan Rogue was unable to negotiate a left bearing curve in the area of 1506 Broadway.
He said, “The Rogue went off the road to the right, hit a utility pole and then a parked car, and then went down an embankment and caught on fire. A body was located in the vehicle after the fire was extinguished.”
Haverhill Police are in charge of the accident investigation and State Police are providing crash reconstruction assistance.
