Most Haverhill school administrators are receiving a rating of “proficient” on their evaluation reports for the current school year, despite not having an actual performance evaluation.
The decision to maintain the status quo is due to the unprecedented challenges caused by the coronavirus, resulting in school closures and the necessity of remote learning.
The Haverhill School Committee voted unanimously last week to approve a Memorandum of Understanding between the Haverhill Public Schools and the schools Supervisory and Administrative Group. The agreement calls for educators and evaluators to meet at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year to discuss expectations for the upcoming year.
