Drs. Andrew Lim and Durathun Farha have joined SMG Pleasant Valley Primary Care in Methuen.
They will practice with Dr. Perin Thavaseelan who is currently in the primary care practice—part of Steward Medical Group.
Lim is a board-certified family medicine physician. He graduated from the Nebraska College of Medicine and is a member of the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. He has more than 40 years’ experience as a physician and has worked in emergency care, family practice and private practice, and served as medical director of a health services practice. He served as a clinical instructor in Family Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester. Lim is accepting new patients.
Farha is board certified in internal medicine and vascular medicine and holds Physician Vascular Ultrasound Interpretation Certification. She graduated from Bangalore University in India, completed her residency in primary care at Carney Hospital, Boston University, and her fellowship in vascular medicine at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. Farha has more than 25 years’ experience working in internal medicine and primary care. She has worked in major hospitals in and around Boston including Lowell General Hospital, New England Medical Center, Lahey Clinic, Boston Medical Center and Steward Carney Hospital.
