Continuing construction along Interstate 495 in Haverhill means various lane closures, both northbound and southbound, this week.
The state Department of Transportation says closures will take place during the daytime hours of 7 a.m.-4 p.m., today through Friday, May, 15. Closures are necessary for pier protection barrier work at the River Street and Industrial Avenue, Ward Hill, overpass.
Specifically, a single left lane on I-495 northbound between exits 48 and 49 is closed today through Thursday, May 14; a single right lane on I-495 northbound between exits 48 and 49 is closed Friday, May 15 and a single left lane on I-495 southbound between exits 48, 49 and 50 closes today, Thursday, May 14 and Friday, May 15.
