Virtual Breakfast for Hope Thursday Aims to Destigmatize, Prevent Suicide

Samaritans is taking its 2020 Breakfast for Hope virtual in response to the public health crisis created by COVID-19.

The Breakfast for Hope begins Thursday, April 30, at 8 a.m., and features stories from people who have benefitted from the nonprofit’s lifesaving suicide prevention, postvention and intervention services. Gov. Charlie Baker offers opening remarks and Boston radio host Kennedy Elsey appears by video.

Those who wish to participate may learn about registration, sponsorship and additional information here. Those interested in registering guests for a virtual table may select the complimentary ticket type, “Table Guest,” and complete their information or send a list of guest names and email addresses to [email protected].

Donations are requested to support the nonprofit’s lifesaving work.
