The public has opportunities to shape policy this week as various Haverhill boards meet. In the interest of transparency in government, WHAV provides this list of upcoming meetings every week.

The Joint Facilities Subcommittee of the Haverhill School Committee and City Council meets remotely at 3, this afternoon to learn where things stand with plans to repair or replace Dr. Albert B. Consentino School and possibly the John Greenleaf Whittier School.

Members expect updates on the Consentino School building project and the Green Communities program—the latter from energy consultant Orlando Pacheco. They also expect to be briefed of the status of the city’s “statement of interest” submitted to the Massachusetts School Building Authority for the John Greenleaf Whittier School. The committee is headed by School Committee member Scott W. Wood Jr.
