Haverhill Historical Society’s Buttonwoods Museum is welcoming virtual visitors with its #MuseumFromHome offering.

Buttonwoods, like the majority of historic sites and museums around the world, has closed its doors to slow the spread of COVID-19. #MuseumFromHome is a shared effort of museums to bring their cultural and historical content to visitors, even as their visitors do their part by staying home.

The new #MuseumFromHome page at Buttonwoods.org collects the museum’s digital content into one easy-to-find collection. Current offerings include collection highlights from Curator Janice Williams, Antiques Roadshow-style episodes from the museum’s “What’s It Worth” fundraiser last fall and the Earth Day children’s program livestreamed on Facebook earlier this week. More content is expected to be added about once a week during the pandemic.
