Haverhill Public Library has reformatted its “Get Lit Book Club” as a virtual event, and tonight’s event includes the author at the center of the book under discussion.

Kathleen Kent, author of “The Heretic’s Daughter” joins in tonight, from 7 to 8:30, online. Her book is a novel based on the experiences of Salem Witch Trials’ victim Martha Carrier and narrated by her daughter, Sarah.

Get Lit is a social book club designed for 20- and 30-something readers in Greater Haverhill. Register online at haverhillpl.org, and look under Calendar of Events.
