Merrimack Valley veterans who have been unable to take advantage of food distributions have an opportunity this morning at Northern Essex Community College or next Wednesday at North Shore Community College.
Today’s distribution, under the direction of Veterans Northeast Outreach Center and Massachusetts Military Support Foundation Food4Vets, takes place from 10 a.m.-noon at Northern Essex, 100 Elliott St., Haverhill. Next Wednesday’s distribution also takes place from 10 a.m.-noon, at North Shore Community College, 1 Ferncroft Road, Danvers. Future distributions will rotate Wednesdays between the two colleges.
Veterans must pre-register online at massmilitarysupportfoundation.org.
Veterans will receive a box of non-perishable food supplies sufficient to cover meals for two adults over a 10-14-day period.
